Well yet again I have let it go too long without posting. Life is just always so hectic anymore!

Last month was Easter. The kids enjoyed their egg hunts and it was nice to have them all four together this year. It’s hard when it’s not our year for certain holidays and we don’t have them all together.

It’s hard to believe that next year we will have an addition to this picture :).

I am still driving my 1.5 hour (one-way) commute to work. I’m going into my fifth month of doing this and it is absolutely exhausting! I left yesterday morning at around 7 a.m. and had to work late and didn’t get home until around 9 p.m. Now my days are not always like that but boy was I tired. Josh and I were both asleep by 9:30 the other night

On a happy note I am 32 weeks (8 months) pregnant today!! Only 8 more weeks and our rambunctious little girl will be here. It just seems so unreal! I can’t wait to hold her in my arms. I will hug her and pet her and squeeze her and call her George. Bahaha sorry I had to. If you don’t get the reference you need to watch The Abominable Snow Rabbit.

The heartburn has been torture, my left foot is swelled 24/7, she has started staying under my ribs, she kicks so hard sometimes it feels like she is breaking out, and I can’t walk any distance without being out of breath. Ohhh the joys of pregnancy lol. But it’s ALL worth it in the end.

We decided on a name forever ago. I actually had it picked out before we found out she was a girl. However, her daddy wouldn’t let me put it on Facebook or anything. He said someone would take it….and that does happen all of the time.

Abby’s birthday was this month and her party was a success. She wanted a tea party theme which turned out way too cute!

Savannah’s ballet recital was last weekend and she was absolutely beautiful. She cracks me up how serious she is when it comes to doing it the right way. She seemed a little more nervous this year than last year. But she done a great job as usual. If you can’t tell….the theme was Frozen.

If you can’t tell we are a very proud daddy and stepmom 😀

 

Even though it has had some amazing moments, and times where we made a lot of great memories…..this has been a very hectic and trying month. But everything happens for a reason and let’s just hope May is a little better lol.

I’ve been such a slacker and I need to get my tail back in gear and back on track for blogging. Hopefully it won’t take me so long to make my next post.
