My mother is my hero. Plain and simple.

How do you thank someone for giving you life and being the most inspirational woman in your life? My mother is the most selfless woman I have ever met. She literally gave up her life to raise us four kids. She never for one minute stopped being the best mother she could be. She killed herself to provide for us. I could never thank her or repay her for all that she has done for us. I hope to one day be half the woman or mom that she is.

I feel that too many people wait until Mother’s Day to show their mother how much they love her. I don’t need one specific day a year to let my mom know how much I love, appreciate, and thank her for everything she does for me. I try to let her know as much as possible!

I realize my mother gave up her life to raise me and my three siblings. She has literally been raising kids her whole life. She worked two jobs, and sacrificed so much to ensure that we had what we needed.

I have never once doubted that my mother loves me. I grew up knowing she loved me and always felt it. She was always one of my biggest supporters and motivators. She pushed me to make my dreams happen and I am forever grateful for that. I have never taken this for granted because I know not everyone has the same support system.

Having a mother to lean on, a mother to look up to, and a mother to be your hero is PRICELESS.

Not only is she my mother, she is forever my friend. I am extremely lucky to have a mother that can be a mother figure but also a best friend.

I hope to be only half the mother to Reylin that my mother has been to me!
